DEVELOPMENT OF DISCIPLINE FOR VIBRATION OF MACHINERY FOUNDATION IN CHINA AND SOME PROBLEMS BEING STUDIED

  • It is made that a fundamental indroduction to vibration discipline for machinery foundations which developed in China.Meanwhile,it is pointed out that some subjects need to be further studied. It is emphasized on these problems concerned,such as the elastic rigidity and damping of bases,the vertical rigidity of piles,the problem of participation-vibration-mass of bases,the elastic wave propagation in soils,the problem of vibration computation of frame foundations and the relevant problems of elastic half space theory and mass-elasticity-damping theory.
