  • Based on the design code for strengthening concrete structure,using the theory of calculating the flexural capacity and the shear capacity of RC beams with rectangular section strengthened by FRP,it is calculated and analysed the flexural capacity and the shear capacity of RC beams strengthened by BFRP sheets or CFRP sheets.The calculation process indicate that it is easy to calculate the flexural capacity and the shear capacity of RC beams strengthened by BFRP based on the design code for strengthening concrete structure.
