EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATIONS AND FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS OF LOAD_TRANSFERRED MODE OF THICK SIX_PILE CAP

  • Based on the experimental investigations of three thick six_pile cap specimens and finite element computations,the load_transferred mechanism andthe failure modes are analyzed, and the effect of different steel bar arrangements on theultimate bearing capacity of thick six_pile caps are thus discussed. The results show that the load_transferred path of thicksix_pile cap is well correlated with the three_dimensional arch_and_tie model.
