    Abstract
  • Adjustable shading can adjust solar radiation through architectural surfaces by changing itself continiously. Thereare three basic forms: shutter, roller blindand sun ?breaker. It is analyzed the basic characteristics of adjustable shading andpointed out that shading form surfacing and shading functional diversification are becoming the current main trend indesigning adjustable shading. A new idea of adjustable shading is also described.
