The roof structure system of the National Gymnasium is bidirectional truss string structure.As a new structure system,the shape and structural behavior of the joints are more complicated,the design of the joints is extremely difficult. The design process of the post end joints and the cast steel joints at the end of the cable is introduced.The calculation and experimental study about the slide-resistant behavior between the cable and the post down end joint are carried out.The joint plan and test data can be referenced by other similar projects.
