THE COUPLING THERMO-HYDRO-MECHANICAL DYNAMIC RESPONSE OF A SATURATED FOUNDATION UNDER AXISYMMETRIC LOAD

  • The dynamic response of a saturated foundation,due to an axisymmetric load,is investigated theoretically by developing the coupling thermo-hydro-mechanical governing equations.The material of foundation,obeying Biot's dynamic poroelastic theory,is idealized as a uniform,fully saturated poroelastic half-space stratum.The analytical solutions of stress,displacement and pore pressure are derived using the Hankel transform and the inverse Hankel transform.Numerical results are obtained and used to analyze the distribution of temperature increment,stress,displacement and pore pressure on the condition of thermo-hydro-mechanical coupling.Further more,the results of hydro-mechanical coupling are compared with those of this paper.
