DISCUSSIONS ON TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR CONCRETE STRUCTURES OF TALL BUILDING AND HOWBEIJING, SHANGHAI AND GUANGDONG COMPREHEND SOME RULES OF THE SPECIFICATION

  • Since the promulgation of Technical Specification for Concrete Structures of Tall Building (JGJ 3-2002) in June, 2002, most of the engineers could keep on request of the specification in their projects. But there are some differences in using idiographic clause of the specification in every quarter because of lacking material operable way and different understanding of the specification in all quarters. There are local technical measures and specifications issued in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangdong based on local design experience and engineering practice. Technical Specification for Concrete Structures of Tall Building(JGJ 3-2002) and correlative materials, detailed rules for structural design in Beijing, Code for Seismic Design of Buildings of Shanghai and the complement of Technical Specification for Concrete Structures of Tall Building(JGJ 3-2002) in Guangdong are analyzed. And different understandings of the specification are discussed.Which provides a reference for revision of codes.
