EXPERIMENTAL STUDIES ON BENDING LOAD CAPACITY OF RC BEAM STRENGTHENED WITH CFRP PLATE

  • A series of RC beams strengthened in flexure with CFRP plates were tested and studied. The test results showed that the CRFP plate reinforcement could highly increase the bending load capacity of the beam. Based on the testing results, the load_deformation process, flexural failure characteristics and the effect of various parameters on their behavior were all discussed.
