ENGINEERING PROPERTIES OF DREDGED SEDIMENT MODIFIED BY HAS STABILIZER

  • In order to discuss the stabilization effect of useing HAS stabilizer to reinforce the Pearl River channel dredged sediments,the tests on the compaction,unconfined compressive strength and impermeability of stabilized sediment have been made.The results indicate that adding HAS stabilizer can improve the physico-mechanical performances of the dreged sediment.The compactibility, impermeability and strength are improve notably.A prediction equation is developed to calculate the strength of stabilized sediment by analyzing the experimental data.It can be used for reference in engineering practice.
