  • The technique of concrete structure strengthened with prestressed CFRP sheet is an effective technique with a bright future.In this technique,the stress distribution on releasing CFRP sheet is very complicated.It is presented the concept of prestressed CFRP sheets' transferable area according to prestressed concrete theory.A total of 7 specimens were tested to investigate in detail CFRP sheet's strain distribution,prestressed CFRP sheets' transferable area,and concrete's strain distribution.Formula of calculating prestressed CFRP sheets' transferable area were given.All the work gives some supports to found the system of design theory of this technique.
