  • The flexible supporting system for point supported glass curtain wall is a new type of supporting system. By analyzing a monofilament cable, it is presented the conclusions that the influencing factors of the load- carrying properties of flexible supporting system include the initial prestress, the diameter of tension rod or cable, the rise ratio and the height of the structure etc. These can provide a theoretical basis for the researchers later or the designers to study the forced properties of flexible supports.
