Due to compression in three-axis, the ductility and strength of concrete confined by lateral circular hoopings become much higher.In the need of strength and stiffness in local section, multiple lateral hoopings confined concrete is applied into practice, such as beam-column joints, etc.From the existing principle of confined concrete, two methods are proposed on the strength prediction of confined concrete with multiple lateral hoopings.The suitable scope of application of each one is derived through comparison.
