EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF UNIAXIAL COMPRESSIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF STEEL FIBER IMPROVED HIGH-STRENGTH CONCRETE

  • It is studied the complete stress-strain curves characteristics of steel fiber high-strength concrete.Resulting from the experiments, the complete stress-strain curve of high-strength concrete with the steel fiber comes to an appearent changes, especially at the steel fiber volume ratio(V_f) of 1.5% and 2.0%, the second peak value appears on the complete stress-strain curve, which cannot be drawn for the ordinary steel fiber concrete and high-strength concrete.At the same time, the values of the stress peak and peak strain and flexibility of high-strength concrete are influenced to the different extent by the variety of steel fiber volume ratio, so the steel fiber can improve efficiently the functions of high-strength concrete.
