The tests of simulating local transfering force in rectangle steel tube truss joint are presented.Rectangle steel tube of secondary truss is divided into two kinds of tension plate in according to thickness of flange and web.The test applies tension to top chord of main truss by using the two kinds of tension plates.The test results show that Z in web of top chord of main truss does not reach yield point when secondary truss attains yield.Finite element analysis indicates that analytic results of numerical way basically accord with experimental result, and it is compared the effect of setting stiffener with no stiffener in top chord of main truss in respect of Z in web of top chord of main truss.At last this kind of experimental way is testified to simulate local transfering force in rectangle steel tube truss.
