CALCULATING FROZEN WALL STRESS AND DISPLACEMENT FIELDS BY MOHR-COULOMB STRENGTH CRITERION

  • Regarding frozen wall as spatial axis symmetric thick walled cylinder,and conducting on elasto-plastic analysis on the frozen wall by Mohr-Coulomb strength criterion,the distribution rules of radial displacement field and stress field of frozen wall are got.The result is of importance in giving full play to frozen wall bearing capacity and can be taken as reference for designing the frozen wall of a deep shaft.
