It was investigated that the effect of expansive agent dosage,water -binder ratio(W/B),air -entraining admixture and curing regime on the shrinkage and impermeability of C40 self -compacting concrete.The results showed that the airentraining admixture could greatly reduce shrinkage and enhance impermeability,the shrinkage and impermeability were affected by W/B and self -compacting competency,the optimum expanding admixture dosage was 30 kg/m +3.As for the reliability of self-compacting concrete in engineering,the shrinkage and deformation fall acted for a supplement of standard permeability test to estimate the impermeability of self-compacting concrete.
