  • Cores of RC beam- column joints in two-way frames canct be directly upgraded as that in one-way frames because of the ex istence of two-way beams. In this paper, five full-scale beam- column joints are tested under quas-i static cycle load, to evaluate the shear performance improvement of beam- column joints upgraded by two different CFRP sheets strengthening methods that are around core, and the strengthening mechanism is also presented for different methods.
