RESEARCH ON FAILURE MECHANISM AND DESIGN METHOD OF ABNORMAL FRAME JOINTS IN INDUSTRIAL MILL BUILDING

  • The R. C. frame-bent structures commonly contain abnormal joints. Based on the experimental result, the damage mechanism and the failure of abnormal joints under the shear force are analyzed. According to experimental result, the formula for calculation of the shear-bearing capacity of abnormal joints and the method for strengthening the abnormal joints are given, which provides a basis for rational design of the abnormal joints.
