It is put forward that a new method of testing steel framework joints stiffness, deflection method.From the basic definition of the joints stiffness,it considers that the deflection of a certain point of the beam consists of two parts,one is produced by the beams ideal elastic bend,the other is produced by the deformation of joint field.By the deflection test,the deflection produced by the deformation of joint field can be gained,accordingly,the change in the included angle that the beam axis relative to the pole axis can be gained too.
