With the increase of the amount of high-rise buildings,it is shown that introducing the soil nonlinear behavior into the foundation design is very important.In this paper,the nonlinear behavior of soil in loading state is described and analyzed.By which, a certain understanding of the failure process of a raft foundation is obtained.
