STUDY ON THE DURABILITY OF THE FIBER AND HYBRID FIBER REINFORCED EXPANSIVE CONCRETE

  • It is studied that the permeability resistance, frost resistance, wear resistance and deformation properties of the?polypropylene fiber, polyethlene alcohol fiber and hybrid fiber reinforced expansive concrete.The study shows that fiber and?hybrid fiber will substantially enhance the permeability resistance, frost resistance and wear resistance of expansive concrete;hybrid fiber is superior to the unitary fiber; and fiber will have some restriction to the expansion of the expansive concrete.The analysis shows that the combination of fiber and micro- expansion will effectively improve the internal structure of the?concrete and reduce its primitive limitation caused by the distortion.Therefore a new technical approach to increase the?durability of the concrete is also explored.
