A novel seismic type of structural system called steel skeleton concrete frame-brace structure is used for Beijing new planetarimu,whose structural system is very complex.Calculation and analysis are carried out on static and dynamic responses for the engineering by means of finite element analysis program ANSYS,which provides a basis for design of structural members.Brace memebers are mainly discussed of dissipating energy under the action of earthquake.Finally some useful conclusions can be drawn to direct engineering practice.
