Basing on the fracture mechanics theory of concrete,through analyzing the anti-cracking function and reinforcing effect of steel fiber, it is discussed that the method for calculating the cracking strength and the width of the cracks in steel fiber reinforced concrete and the corresponding formula is also given. The author also checks them with the experimental results, which shows the validity of the analysis and calculation.
