This article adopts the finite-element method to analyze, in a three dimensional way, the deformation behaviour of the single pile of the composite foundation under the effect of horizontal loading.Through the numerical analysis, the distribution rules of the horizontal displacement of the axis of the pile are got;and the position where the fracture of the pile may most probably appear is found.
