STUDY ON WIND-INDUCED RESPONSE OF MULTIFUNCTIONAL VIBRATION-ABSORPTION MEGAFRAME STRUCTURES

  • Multifunctional vibration-absorption megaframe structures can dissipat e energy by multiple tuned mass dampers, base isolaters and dampers. The princip le of energy dissipation of Multifunctional vibration- absorption megaframe str u ctures is clarified by frequency domain analysis. The rules of ratio of lateral top displacement of main frame changing with the turn ratio and damping ratio of subframes are obtained. The fluctuation wind loads are simulated by harmonic sy nthetic method. The rusults of frequency domain analysis are verified by time do main finite element analysis. The result shows that, compared with normal megafr ame structures, the wind induced response of multifunctional vibration-absorpti on megaframe structures can be greatly reduced.
