A theoretical analysis of end anchorage of RC beams strengthened with fiber shee ts is carried out using a model of arch truss, in which the effect of inclined cracks on the strengthening effectiveness is taken into account, and a simplifie d calculation model of the arch truss is also established. The analysis of determ ining strengthening position and the theoretical breaking point of fiber sheets is also conducted. The necessary bonding force at the end of fiber sheets, H is obtained through the theoretical analysis, thus defining the anchorage length l f.
