The anchorage performance of GFRP rock b olt is studied by the material test of GFRP threaded rod with a diameter of 25mm and its pull-out test of grouting anchorage. The study shows that the tensile capacity of GFRP threaded rod is higher than that of a steel bar with same diame ter, yet its potential can not be in full play. It is indicated by the pull-out test that the load-slip curve of GFRP material is also similar to that of a th readed steel, but its maximum pull-out force is about 30% less than the latter, which shows that the superiority of GFRP material can not be in full play by or dinary mortar anchorage.
