Light steel portal frames have been extensively used for industrial mill buildings in recent years, and much attention is being paid to the fireproofing of steel structures.It is introduced that the detection analysis of the structural damage to a combined mill building after a fire on September 6, 2002 and its rehabilitation, which were undertaken by Shanghai Building Research Academy and Shanghai Electromechanical Design and Research Institute.
