The vertical temperature gradient of atrium is big because it has the effects of greenhouse and chimney.Therefore, if its design is improper, there will be a poor thermal amenity in the environment,which results in an increase in energy consumption. It is proposed that rational selection and zonation of the interface between the atrium and peripheral space shall be done,while maintaining a sharing space, which can effectively control the thermal amenity of each zone.
