THE APPLICATION OF UNBONDED PRESTRESSED TECHNIQUE TO CYLINDRICAL SHELL WITH BIG DIAMETER AND THE ANALYSIS OF TESTS

  • This paper presents the application of unbonded prestressed concrete technique to cylindrical shell with big diameter through an engineering case. Structure can be analyzed and designed by using the axisymmetrical cylindrical shell theory with moment. A series of stress strain and displacement tests are carried out in situ construction.The test results have good agreement with the theoretical numerical results. Th case study shows the merit of unbonded prestressed concrete technique used in cylindrical shell with big diameter in controlling the occurrence of crack, and it also shows the significant economic and social benefits.This technique has a bright prospects in engineering construction. In addition, some suggestions on designing theory are put forward.
