Through external force performance tests of 10 steel-concrete sandwich composite shear wall specimens,
the failure characteristics,bearing capacity,stiffness,deformation capacity of each type of specimen under one-way
compression and bending loads were studied. Through calculating and comparing of hysteretic curves,skeleton
curves,bearing capacity,ductility coefficient and energy dissipation capacity etc of each specimen,the influence on
external force performance under shear span ratios,steel ratios,as well as the changes of way of wall structures was
analyzed. The studies show that the external deformation capacity of steel-concrete wall specimen is strong enough,
and the bearing capacity and deformation capacity of wall are affected by changes of shear-span ratios and steel ratios.
