On the basis of model test,the nonlinear static analysis of frame structure model,frame structure with
bulit-in swaying wall model and frame structure with external swaying wall model was carried out through the software
SAP 2000. The results showed that both frame structure with bulit-in swaying wall and frame structure with external
rocking wall seismic performance had difference in the structural stiffness,seismic bearing capacity,damage
characteristics,interlayer deformation and the deformation intensity. The kinds of the connection between swaying wall
and frame structure had remarkable influence on the seismic performance of the structures.
