Abstract: Shougang park is currently a larger urban renewal project in China. Under the background of a series of events such as policy guidance, urban revitalization, industrial transformation and cultural and creative activities, how to reasonably and effectively protect Shougang industrial heritage, the coordinated development with economy, society and environment is an important problem to realize the urban renewal of the old industrial park in the west of Beijing.Through the practice of the reconstruction and utilization of the 3rd blast furnace museum of Shougang, this paper probed into the reconstruction methods of protection and utilization of the industrial heritage from four aspects of retaining the rust color original appearance,highlighting the industrial mark, constructing the charming dynamic line, and constructing the night scene lighting, with a view to providing a reference for the follow-up renovation.
