Abstract: Railway transporting facilities are an important part of industrial heritages． It was first analyzed the elements of railway facilities，and three transformation principles were proposed: complete protection，partial reservation and restructuring ＆ reorganizing． It was also analyzed the design methods of station building，railway， locomotive and carriage，equipment parts． It was expected to get common experience for reform designs in the future．
