Abstract: An industry gathering area includes all kinds of development zones，such as: economic and technological development zones，high-tech industrial development zones， industrial parks，modern service industry park． In view of urban geography，urban economics theories，and using many methods，such as urban planning and industrial development planning etc，it was demonstrated that the location choice of fine chemicals industry gathering area in Kaifeng was reasonable，it was planned and studied the arrangements of strategic goals and industries choices， spatial design and supporting measures for it，which provided a reference for the development of relevant industry gathering areas．
