Abstract: In pace with the arrival of the digital era，the digital technology has brought a revolution in the protection and the reuse of industrial heritage，and which has never appeared． Through introducing the concept and developed experience of industrial heritage，and investigating the advantages of digital technology，finally，the strategies of the protection and reuse of industrial heritage based on the digital technology were summarized by combining with the excellent instance of reuse．
