CORROSION ANALYSIS OF PRESTRESSED STEEL STRANDS EMBEDDED IN DUCT GROUT FROM AN OFFSHORE BRIDGE

摘要: 胶州湾某近海桥梁在拆除时发现其跨中箱梁孔道灌浆中的钢绞线发生腐蚀。采用扫描电镜、EDS能谱、X射线衍射及激光拉曼对锈层样品分析表面形貌、元素分布及物相组成。结果表明:钢绞线表面有明显的蚀坑,在锈层中发现Fe、O、Cl、S、Ca、Si等元素。腐蚀产物主要由-FeOOH、-Fe2O3、-FeOOH、Fe3O4、CaCO3及少量的Fe2(SO4)3和-FeOOH组成。锈层内部不同位置处的物相组成具有一定的差异。Abstract: It was found that the strands embedded in duct grout of box grider in the mid-span had corroded when an offshore bridge located in Jiaozhou Bay was demolished. The scanning electron microscope,energy spectrum,X-ray diffraction and Raman spectrum were used to analyze the morphology,element distribution and phases composition of rust samples. The results showed that the steel strand exhibited apparent corrosion pits,and in the rust layer ferrum, oxygen,chlorine,sulfur,calcium, silicon and other elements were found. The corrosion products mainly consisted of goethite,hematite,lepidocrocite,magnetite,calcium carbonate,little ferric sulphate and akageneite. There exist some differences in different locations of the rust layer.
