APPLICATION OF LADE-DUNCAN CRITERION IN EARTH PRESSURE CALCULATION

摘要: 基于严格意义上的Lade-Duncan准则,将挡土墙土压力计算问题视为平面应变问题,推得了黏性土与无黏性土的主动和被动土压力计算公式,推导中由于考虑了中主应力的影响,所以更真实地反映了土压力的作用情况。与以往应用Lade-Duncan准则在平面应变条件下的强度公式不同,该推导完全基于LadeDuncan准则,而没有借助由SMP准则得到的中主应力公式。为了验证公式的有效性和优势,将公式计算与实测结果进行对比。结果表明:相对于朗肯理论和基于SMP准则的方法,该方法更为接近实测结果,而又留有一定的安全储备。

Abstract: Based on the strict Lade-Duncan criterion,to take earth pressure problem as plane strain problem,the formulae of the active and passive earth pressure for clay and non-cohesive soil were derived,which could reflect the action of earth pressure more really,considering the intermediate principal stress. Unlike the past papers,the proposed formulae were derived only from the Lade-Duncan criterion,with no help of the SMP criterion. To verify the feasibility of the proposed formulae,the results determined from the proposed formulae were compared with those obtained from the experiment,also with those obtained from Rankine's theory. It was shown that the results determined from the proposed formulae enough safety storage,and were in better agreement with those obtained from the experiment.-
