DESIGN OF BRBS IN SEISMIC RESTROFITTING OF THE CLASSROOM BUILDING IN A PRIMARY SCHOOL

摘要: 屈曲约束耗能支撑在拉、压两种受力状态下都能达到屈服,是一种集抗侧力和耗能为一体的耗能减震构件。结合学校加固工程特点和支撑受力性能,应用屈曲约束耗能支撑在某平面严重不规则的教学楼中进行加固设计,通过反应谱以及非线性时程分析方法,比较研究采用支撑加固前后教学楼相关信息。结果显示,小震作用下支撑可很好地调整原有结构抗扭和抗侧刚度,大震作用下支撑能有效消耗地震能量,提高结构承载力,加固效果明显。Abstract: Buckling-restrained-brace(BRB) shows the same load deformation behavior in both compression and tension,it can be both a lateral force resistant and energy dissipation component.Based on the characteristics of school building and BRB mechanical behavior,the appliction of BRBs were introduced in retrofitting the irregular classroom building.Comparative study of the building information before and after retrofitting were done by response spectrum analysis and nonlinear time history analysis.Results showed that BRBs could adjust the torsional and lateral stiffness of original structure when subjected to frequent earthquakes,and when subjected to strong earthquakes,BRBs yielded and provided additional energy dissipation capacity for the main structure.So that evident effect of retrofitting was got.
