Abstract: It was expounded the concept and feature of industrial architecture heritage in port areas.Based on overseas experience,it was analyzed the significance of regenerating such heritages from history and culture,resource and environment,and economical value.It was also summarized general methods of conservation and regeneration of industrial architecture heritages in port areas,which achieved purposeful development balancing society,economy and environment,and in particular,put forward a newer pattern that would promote the development of port district by setting landscape first,which would provide reference for protecting and renewing such heritages in china.
