A COMPARISION OF CONNECTION DESIGN IN STAINLESS STEEL STRUCTURES BETWEEN AMERICAN AND EUROPEAN CODES

摘要: 不锈钢具有良好的耐腐蚀性能,已广泛用于多种工程结构,但因我国尚未制订不锈钢结构设计规范,影响了不锈钢的使用。通过对美国不锈钢规范(SEI/ASCE 8-02)和欧洲钢结构规范(Eurocode 3)中关于不锈钢的基本设计规定、焊缝连接计算和螺栓连接设计的有关内容分析比较,为制定中国不锈钢结构设计规范和相关设计提供参考。Abstract: Stainless steel has been widely used as load-bearing members in various engineering structures because of its good anti-rust performance,but the lack of design code affects the usage of stainless steel in China.The American stainless steel code (SEI/ASCE 8-02) and the European steel structures (Eurocode 3) on the basic design rules, the calculation of welded connections and the design of bolted connections in stainless steel are compared and analyzed.The result can be a reference for the design of structures as well as for drafting the Chinese design code of stainless steel structures.
