EXPERIMENTAL AND FINITE ELEMENT ANALYSIS ON THE ULTIMATE BEARING CAPACITY OF HOLLOW SPHERICAL JOINTS WITH RIBBED STIFFENER

摘要: 对4组共12个足尺带加劲肋空心焊接球节点进行单向加载试验,运用ABAQUS有限元软件,采用弹塑性线性强化材料本构模型建立有限元模型,考虑材料和几何非线性对其受力过程进行分析,并将试验和模拟所得极限承载力值与规范推荐值进行比较。结合试验和有限元模拟,提出两条在试验中定量地判断球节点极限荷载的建议。计算多种影响因素(球壁厚、球径、钢管直径及多向受力)下球节点的拉、压受力过程,得出影响因素与承载力之间的关系,并对规范提出了适当的建议。Abstract: Four groups(12 in total) of welded hollow spherical joints with ribbed stiffener were tested under uniaxial loads in this paper.With the adoption of elasto-plastic model and consideration of geometric and material nonlinearity,the whole loading process of the specimens was simulated with the help of ABAQUS FEM software.Through combining the test data and computing results,two recommendations used to quantitatively determinate the ultimate bearing capacity of a tested spherical joint were proposed.The relationships between bearing capacity and various influence factors,which include the thickness and diameter of hollow sphere,the diameter of steel tube and the multi-directional axial force,were analyzed and illustrated at the end of this paper.
