Abstract: During the process of urban development and industrial transformation,water towers,the industrial heritage structures seen everywhere,are facing the grim situation of being destructed together with the industrial heritages.In fact,water towers are often the visual focus and the Monument of traditional industrial park,which could be conserved and reused as the memory of the urban history and industrial age.In this paper,two water tower reconstruction project cases from the Netherlands are introduced,to raise the level of transformation using small-scale industrial structures such as water towers,etc,and to provide inspiration to the conservative reuse of industrial heritage.
