Abstract: This issue mainly discuss the relation between contemporary old building renewal field and Mies's Architectural aesthetics. At first,demonstrate the influence of Mies's architectural aesthetics on old building renewal field by a historical analysis of this field. Then,indicate that the influences concretely are the aesthetics style in the design of glass with steel,the reduced geometrical figure and the architectural details. Finally,point out that research about thought history is directional for the development of this field in our country.
