EXPERIMENTAL STUDY ON STATIC BEHAVIOR OF OVERLAPPED CHS KT-JOINTS

摘要: 通过对3个平面KT型圆钢管搭接节点的静力单调加载试验,考察节点中内隐蔽部分焊接与否、腹杆搭接顺序等对KT型搭接节点的受力性能和破坏模式的影响,并最终考察其节点承载力。试验结果表明,平面KT型圆钢管搭接节点的受力性能、破坏模式均与间隙节点有所不同;隐蔽部分未焊接较隐蔽部分焊接的节点承载力有一定降低;受压斜腹杆作为贯通腹杆较直腹杆作为贯通腹杆的承载力略有降低。

Abstract: To investigate how the welding situations of hidden seam and the loading hierarchy reversal of braces affect the structural performance of unstiffened overlapped circular hollow steel (CHS) KT-joints,three specimens were tested under monotonic loading. The test results show that: the mechanical behavior and failure mechanism of the overlapped KT-joints are different from that of simple gap KT-joints; the unwelded situation of hidden seam will decrease the ultimate capacity of KT-joints; the overlapped KT-joint with inclined compressive brace as through web member has lower load-carrying capacity compared with joint using vertical brace as through web member.-
