RESEARCH ON AXIAL COMPRESSION STRENGTH OF L-SHAPED SHORT COLUMN COMPOSED OF CONCRETE-FILLED SQUARE STEEL TUBES

摘要: 在分析L形方钢管混凝土组合异形柱特点的基础上,通过理论计算、有限元分析和轴压试验,对L形组合短柱的计算方法和轴压极限承载力进行研究。按照单肢高宽比等于4的原则,设计制作了L形组合短柱试件,计算采用叠加理论公式,得到试件的轴压极限承载力为3 720 kN;有限元分析采用壳单元、实体单元和接触单元,得到试件的轴压极限承载力为3 518 kN;轴压试验得到试件极限承载力为3 975 kN。分析结果可知,理论计算、有限元分析和轴压试验三者结果吻合,得到了L形组合短柱的轴压极限承载能力,并验证了采用叠加理论计算L形组合短柱轴压极限承载力的可行性。Abstract: Based on characteristics of L-shaped short composite column of concrete-filled square steel tubes(LCSC),research on calculation method and ultimate load-carrying capacity under axial compression for the special-shaped column is done by three methods: superposition theory,finite element analysis and axial compression test.One LCSC specimen is designed and manufactured with depthwidth ratio is 4 for mono column.For the LCSC specimen,ultimate load attained by superposition theory is 3 720 kN;ultimate load is 3 518 kN according to finite elements analysis with shell element,solid element and contact elements;and ultimate load got from axial compression experiment is 3 975 kN.The Results of theoretical calculation,finite elements analysis and axial compression test all show that ultimate loads from three methods accord with each other well.The ultimate load-carrying capacity of LCSC is acquired,and the feasibility of calculation in superposition theory for LCSC is proved.
