EFFECT OF OVER CONSOLIDATION RATIO ON COEFFICIENT OF STATIC EARTH PRESSURE

摘要: 通过试验证实静止土压力系数随超固结比(OCR)的增大而增大的规律。当超固结比(OCR)超过2.5时,静止土压力系数与超固结比为非线性关系,可用指数函数来近似表示。对于目前的采用土压力理论计算作用于挡土结构物的侧向土压力,应考虑上述超固结比的影响,避免挡土结构物设计的不合理。Abstract: It is determined that coefficient of static earth pressure is influenced by the increase of over consolidation ratio(OCR).When over consolidation ratio exceeds 2.5,the relationship of coefficient of static earth pressure and over consolidation ratio is determined to be nonlinear,and expressed with an exponential function.Therefore,in order to avoid an uneconomical design of a retaining structure,over consolidation ratio should be considered to calculate earth pressure at a retaining structure by using the elastic and plasticity method.
