Abstract: BerlinMarzahn Emergency Hospital is established and expanded based on a 120-year historical hospital, it is mainly for firs-t aid and health healing. After meticulously designed by the designer, old and new buildings are incorporated with surroundings properly by selecting the elevation and colour so as to create a good environment for medical treatment and health healing. When making architectural design of a hospital building, German designers are closely in contact with users of the hospital. The design shall firstly satisfy the necessary conditions required by patient s treatment, furthermore it focuses on surroundings comfort which benefits patient s health recovery. Such design reflects the principle of peopleoriented, and the designed medical building is getting more practical and humane.
