Abstract: Based on the observations of participating in Guangzhou's Top Housing Layout Competition,this paper points out in the light of the social attributes the well-sold housing complexes do not necessarily have good layouts.The misconceptions of in the design of housing layout in China have also been analyzed according to the advanced model,national and local residence style in the developed countries.
