BRITTLENESS AND STRENGTH SIZE EFFECT OF HIGH AND SUPER HIGH STRE NGTH CONCRETES

摘要: 以往的高强混凝土研究往往局限于试验室尺度上的强度提高,而实际上,由于强度尺寸效应现象的存在,并且随混凝土强度提高,脆性增大,强度尺寸效应现象更为明显,因此许多研究是不完善的。采用Bazant的尺寸效应律对高强、超高强混凝土的强度尺寸效应进行了研究,结果表明,随混凝土强度提高,强度随试件尺寸增大而降低的趋势有所突出,并由此探讨了脆性与强度尺寸效应研究的意义。

Abstract: The previous study on high streng th concrete often only devoted to improvement on strength in laboratory.On one hand there does exist strength size effect,on the other hand the brittleness is increased with an increase in strength of concrete,and the phenomenon more pr evalently.So the availability of these studies became suspect.In this paper,base d on size effect law suggested by Bazant,the high strength and super high streng th concrete is studied.It is shown that with the improvement of strength of conc rete the trend that strength of concrete decreases quickly with scale increasing is more pronounced.Furthermore meaning of the study connecting brittleness with size effect is discussed.-
